  4. Brief history of the Mandir:
    • The Mandir was founded in February 1980 and inaugurated in January 1988. Actually the Mandir consist of 70 members in
    total.
    • The following activities are organized by the abovementioned association:
  5. Promotion of Hindu culture.
  6. Celebration of all Hindu festivals.
  7. Pooja (prayers) as per Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation calendar.
  8. Hindu School (teaching classes)
  9. Other activities as and when the need arises (e.g Visiting of homes (elderly persons) and other temples)
  10. Voluntary activities among members.
  11. Funeral grants to members.
