The Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation introduces young people to the values of Hinduism The Gurukkul Shiksha Course is a reality in Mauritius. This six-month training on the fundamental values of Hinduism is aimed at a young audience. Those between the ages of three and 18 who wish to learn more about and understand the religious and cultural principles of Hinduism are encouraged to enroll. This course, an initiative of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, will be delivered online. To find out more, we turned to the president of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, Bhojraj Ghoorbin. The latter claims that on the occasion of the Hindu New Year, Ugadi, the Federation introduced the Gurukkul Shiksha Course. This course, he says, will above all introduce the younger generations to the fundamental values of Hinduism. Bhojraj Ghoorbin admits having noticed a relaxation on the part of young people with regard to Hindu culture and that this training will be a way to better supervise them. Some young people, he says, are too attached to the various digital platforms while others take paths leading to scourges of society. The president of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation therefore invites parents to enroll their children in the Gurukkul Shiksha Course. The registration form is available on the Federation's Facebook page, says Bhoraj Ghoorbin
