SANATAN VATIKA
Sanatan Vatika is the name given to the premises and compound of the Mauritius
Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation situated at Le Triangle, Reduit found at the
centre of the island.
The land of an extent of more than 5 acres adjoins a river with very magnificient
landscape of valleys, hills and green spaces.
The plot of land has been given on long lease since 2008 by the Government of
Mauritius to Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation (MSDTF).
In line with the vision, mission and objects of Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples
Federation a masterplan has been prepared to cater for the promotion of activities
pertaining to the establishment and consolidation of the Eternal Sanatan Dharma. It
consists of :
1. SANATAN VATIKA CONFERENCE CENTRE
– A multi purpose complex to host national/international activities.
– An eco friendly structure design and architecture.
2. GUEST HOUSE
– A two storeyed building to accommodate local/foreign guests.
– 5 separate suites.
3. RESIDENTIAL HOMECARE
– Homecare facilities for gents/ladies.
– Individual / collective rooms for 50 gents.
– Individual / collective rooms for 50 ladies.
– Individual rooms for 10 couples.
4. GURUKUL
– Gurukul Complex for promotion of Eternal Sanatan Values.
– In-built facilities available in Sanatan Vatika Convention Complex
5. SPIRITUAL PATHWAY
– 108 archs built throughout the spiritual pathway.
– Inscription of specific mantras on every arch.
6. SARASWATI TEMPLE
– Octagonal structure surrounded with water found near the river.
– Cater for devotees Sanatan Educational Project of Reduit area.
– Extension of existing educational complex.
– Cater for primary education.
7. HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT TRACKS
– 350 mts of health/environment track already set.
– To encourage lifestyle a culture of healthy and environment friendly.
8. OUTDOOR SPORTS COMPLEX
– Outdoor sports equipment will be provided.
– Foot five & mini golf track created.
10. VEGETARIAN RESTAURANTS
– To cater for satwik food for influx of visitors.
– To promote a culture of vegetarianism.
